When visiting Thilafushi artificial island (also known as junk Island), Teal Alison was amazed to witness hundreds of tons of waste flocked here. On average, each day a visitor to the Maldives were released into the environment as much as 3.5 kg of garbage. Some of this junk have been already up to hundreds of tons per day.
During this trip, the young filmmaker has taken a set of photos with garbage cleanup action at the beach in order to call people and visitors to protect natural areas, to remain forever Maldives as paradise on earth as it has been praised for so long.
